The current structure was built for use as an overseer’s cabin in the movie “Louisiana.” Today it has been converted to the beautiful “Little Greenwood Chapel.” It has seating for 50 and is perfect for a small and intimate ceremonies. It is also ideal for retreat meetings and services.
All packages include basic set-up and clean-up. We also have a selection of pre-approved caterers and vendors who can provide everything you may need for your special event. Additional hours and other venue options must be approved by management prior to event.
Includes use of mansion 1st floor, the oaks, patio area and historic kitchen. Bridal and groom dressing rooms provided. One night stay at our bed & breakfast for the newly weds. Use of the mansion 1 st floor and oaks for bridal portraits available upon request. Rehearsal dinner may be scheduled prior to event.
Kitchen & Patio Area
Use of historic kitchen and patio area only. Rental fee is for a period of no more than three and a half (3 1/2) hours. Preparation may begin at the opening of business on the day of the event.
B&B Dining Room
Venue rental fee includes the booking of rooms at the B&B. Preparation time must be scheduled prior to the event and must not interfere with normal business operations. Commercial kitchen can only be accessed by approved caterers. Meeting set-ups and meals can be arranged for additional fee.
Use of the grounds in front of the mansion – “The Oaks.” Rental period is for no more than three and a half (3 1/2) hours and preparation may begin at the opening of business day of the event.
Perfect for small and intimate ceremonies with seating for 50. Available for ceremonies only or combine with another venue on the grounds for a beautiful reception.
